About The Job At Spectro Cloud, we are in search of a talented individual to become an integral part of our SRE team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge Palette platform. Site Reliability Engineers at Spectro Cloud are software engineers assuming the responsibility for all operational aspects of Spectro Cloud runtime, including automation for self-service provisioning and configuring environments, Containers, Logging, Monitoring, Alerting, and thrives in a highly collaborative, cross functional environment. This position will bridge the gap between engineering and Operations by taking on operational tasks and responsibilities typically handled by operations teams. Responsibility includes: Leadership: Ensure a culture that values technical excellence together with support and compassion for individuals Establish self-service by creating automation, tools, and collaborative workflow processes for engineers to ramp up new capabilities Contribute to platform, networking and infrastructure configuration and deployment Ensure all systems are appropriately auditable, with automation for supplying evidence Enhance and automate failover capability and resiliency to fault conditions Implement exhaustive testing, logging and monitoring (ELK) with relevant alerting Actively manage risk and prioritize vital infrastructure work Assist with automating continuous integration and continuous delivery systems Aid with automated system-wide testing efforts You will excel as a SRE Engineer at Spectro Cloud if you thrive in ambiguity and can deliver value amidst unclear requirements. Success hinges upon your capacity to tackle intricate challenges through a series of incremental steps. It entails embracing test-and-learn methodologies. Qualifications While we don't expect candidates to check every box, we do look for the following when assessing applicants: US person with experience handling FedRAMP environment 6 years of SRE-focused projects involving process automation, systems administration, and/or general SRE activities Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards. Experience with Terraform or IaC based automation software languages Excellent understanding and experience in AWS, EKS, Helm, and GitHub Actions. Experience defining and implementing best practices for AWS architecture, including security, performance, and cost optimization. Relevant industry certifications, such as through the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Foundation Advanced written and verbal skills Work on multiple projects and respond to escalations simultaneously Experience working with C-level and down employees Comfortable working with remote US and International teams The Hiring Process At Spectro Cloud, we highly value your time and dedication throughout the hiring process.
