The Senior Scientist will report directly to the Laboratory Supervisor or Laboratory Manager and will perform sophisticated testing in compliance with laboratory test methods and procedures to support the manufacturing and timely delivery of product to customers (75 to 100%). Work will be well defined and will be reviewed for accuracy upon completion. The role requires application of standard practices and techniques in specific situations and to recognize discrepancies in results and follow operations through a series of detailed steps and processes and be able to serve as an expert in technical areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating in accordance with current GMPs, including the ability to understand and apply SOPs and use GMPs for documenting, testing, and maintaining accurate laboratory records.Performing daily calibrations/verifications and routine maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and equipment according to current SOPs.Supporting the Lifecycle Management Process for Instrument and the Software.Following all job-specific safety procedures as well as quality system requirements as defined within procedures and instructions.Performing data reviews and investigations supporting qualification pertaining to product development, validation, and test methods.
