We are expanding our Ground segment team to be part of new navigation projects.
You will be part of the Ground Segment Operations and AIV activities during all phases of the project.
WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
In this team you will perform the following tasks: Satellite Operations Preparation: Prepare, support and execute system, segment and element validation activities.
Develop, review and update Operations Plans and Concept of Operations document, including LEOP preparation.
Maintain and control ground, flight and safety operations procedures.
Prepare, coordinate, synchronise and verify databases.
Understand information processing concepts and best practices in IT, including real-time systems.
Support validation campaigns.
Planning and coordination of satellite operations: Participate in planning and coordination activities.
Provide inputs to planning and feedback to the execution of activities, including support to critical activities.
Operations execution and support: Monitor and control ground and flight segments in LEOP phase, a critical phase of a satellite mission.
Operate in console and on-call positions.
Support ground segment users in the preparation and execution of operations activities.
Monitor operations performance and perform corrective actions.
Manage incidents and anomalies, including report writing, processing and support review meetings, to meet KPIs.
Interface with external entities for data exchange and service outages.
Provide 24/7 on-call support.
Collect data and report KPI status.
Prepare, support and execute integration and verification tasks.
Prepare, support and execute integration and verification procedures, both at system and segment level.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for experts with experience in satellite operation.
Availability, if required, to work shifts and provide on-call support.
Fluent in English.
Software knowledge: programming (bash or python scripts), operating systems (mainly Linux), incident management (JIRA), testing tools (e.g.
Robotframework, qTest, Test Link, Test Rail).
