Work Model: Hybrid Remote / 5 hours in common with USA Eastern time.

The project involves bringing your talent and ambition to one of the largest and fastest-growing global business travel management companies with a presence in almost 100 countries. Welcome to the startup within a large group (Australian-based). Recently, they completed a rebuild of a 15+ year legacy Salesforce instance. The focus now is to continue adding value by enabling business through technology while further globalizing the people and processes.
Salesforce is central to the company, and we need your help for this global implementation and the construction of a strong Salesforce team!
AND WHAT'S MY ROLE IN THIS?
As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the Salesforce platform to meet business needs and drive exceptional experiences.
Salesforce Design and Development Oversight: Work with Solution Architects and Development team to provide end-to-end oversight, guidance, and governance (framework, tools, approach, strategy, optimization, and security).
Salesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
Transformation Projects: Actively participate in transformational projects aimed at improving processes and optimizing Salesforce capabilities.
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Responsible for code versioning, code reviews, and ensuring the quality and security of all Salesforce development.
BUT ALSO
Manage DevOps: Work with the Development team to streamline deployment processes, automate workflows, and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
System Integration: Integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
Technical Support: Provide L3 technical support to our L1 / L2 support team for more complex issues.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of technical specifications, configurations, and customizations to facilitate knowledge sharing and efficient project management.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, with a focus on customizations and complex projects.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs. Experience with other programming languages is a plus.
Excellent Communication Skills: Able to adapt to the person you are talking to.
Comfortable with DevOps principles.
