With sales and service locations throughout the world, and over 100 years of battery experience, EnerSys is the power/full solution for stored DC power products.Job PurposeDevelop, implement and realize the sales/service and/or business plan and develop, structure and manage the assigned area/unit within the overall business strategy, in order to realize commercial and business objectives.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesExercising discretion and independent judgement when dealing with critical matters within the organization.Train field and sales representatives/account managers in solution-selling skills necessary to sell at good profit margins.Assist sales and field representatives in bringing a full-sales service package to dealers and end-users.Act as liaison between the company and the field representatives as well as facilitate business processes and assist with problem resolution.Achieve sales goals.Lead in the selling process and identifying customers and sales channel management; profit and loss responsibility that includes forecasting sales, tracking margins and managing costs.DSO control.This position may have supervisory responsibility.Travel could be extensive.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelors Degree in related field.5-7 years of extensive and successful sales experience or combination of education and experience.Excellent customer service skills.Excellent presentation skills.Superior problem solving and analytical skills.Superb written and oral communication skills.The ability to understand and explain technical electrical systems and material handling.Basic math ability; proficient in Microsoftapplications.Able to write reports, interpret general business periodicals, manuals, and journals.Preferred QualificationsMasters Degree preferred.Previous supervisory experience helpful.General Job RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach;stoop; kneel or crouch.Must beable to differentiate colors.This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products.
