Based at our headquarters in Barcelona as well as in other strategic locations around the globe, The Hotels Network team is made up of over 140 people from 35 different nationalities. To fuel our continued rapid growth, we are looking for a Senior SaaS Business/Data Analyst to join our team.

The role: This position will be part of the operations team, reporting to its leader. The Hotels Network is looking for someone to lead its operational and financial reporting capabilities. Using existing tools, infrastructure, and processes, we are looking to build up and create state-of-the-art reporting for different stakeholders. We are looking for someone with the ability to understand what the key business metrics are and how to design them so that they are useful for reporting, decision making, and day-to-day management. Having previous experience in SaaS business (its KPIs, its processes…) is key.

Responsibilities: Data analysis: Skillfully gather and evaluate data, conduct and implement quantitative analyses with potentially incomplete data, and verify results to uncover inconsistencies or limitations. Define comprehensive functional requirements, create process flow diagrams, and develop business cases, including performing gap and impact analysis. Business insights: Grasp the business impacts of observations, interviews, and analyses. Coordinate and maintain the regular business activities related to reporting, including audit planning cycles and metric tracking. Communication: Prepare clear and well-structured written reports and deliver oral presentations of findings and recommendations in an effective and efficient manner. Problem structuring and solving: Pinpoint key issues, formulate hypotheses, and develop methodologies to validate or disprove them. Reporting to C-Level: Generate valuable data reporting and business insights for C-Level members of the company. Requirements: Proven experience in SaaS companies. Good understanding of SaaS Metrics. Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Good understanding of SQL. Good understanding of Python. Proven experience integrating 3rd Party APIs. Processes modeling. Experience working with data warehouses, data governance, payments, and treasury. Stakeholder analysis experience. Experience working with Sales and Finance Teams. Tools We use: SalesForce: CRM and principal source of data for business. Retool: internal data visualization tool. Mosaic: Finance analytics platform. Tinybid: data repository. Databases: MySQL, Document DB, and others. AI / LLMs: We use AI every day.
