Senior Risk Control (Ng/Lng)

Identify, assess, and mitigate the risks associated with the company's business operations in the gas market. Ensure that the company can effectively manage and control financial, operational, and commercial risks to protect its assets and maximize profit opportunities.FUNCTIONSTrading books and portfolio:•Oversee computation and maintenance of financial records related to trading activities.•Lead optimization of portfolio composition for best risk-adjusted returns.•Conduct in-depth risk and return analysis for adjusting asset mix.Market risk metrics:•Lead quantification of the company's exposure to identified risks using tools and models.•Evaluate the impact of these risks on business operations and propose corrective measures.Risk mitigation:•Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.•Supervise portfolio diversification and implementation of financial hedges.Mark to Market (MTM):•Lead evaluation of potential losses due to market factor changes.•Develop strategies to mitigate these risks based on MTM analysis.Counterparty credit risk analysis:•Lead analysis and evaluation of credit risk associated with trading counterparties.•Develop policies to mitigate credit risk and strengthen business relationships.Reporting and communication:•Lead communication of the company's current risk exposure, implemented controls, and outcomes of risk control strategies.•Present reports to senior management and collaborate in strategic decision-making.BACROUND & EXPERIENCEEducation•University degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; preferably with certifications in risk management (optional).Skills•Proficient ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and assess potential risks.•Competence in using tools and techniques for risk identification, quantification, and management.•Comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics and market factors impacting risk•Thorough knowledge of financial and regulatory regulations relevant to the industry.Experience•Substantial experience in risk management and application of advanced analyticalLENGUAGE SKILLSSpanish and English (C1-C2)#J-18808-Ljbffr
