An esteemed client in the paints and coatings industry is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Researcher to play a pivotal role in pioneering experiments within a well-equipped laboratory setting. With a global presence in over 150 countries and a commitment to becoming the industry leader, the client boasts a world-class portfolio of brands.The successful candidate will focus on formulation, manufacture, application, and testing of Food Metal Packaging coatings, to join our team in Vilafranca del Penedès.Key Responsibilities: Plan and organize work on a daily and weekly basis with oversight from senior team members.Formulate, prepare, apply, and test the mechanical and chemical properties of coatings using established test methods and procedures to complete Laboratory Work Requests (LWRs) within agreed timescales.Carry out programs of work in support of new product development projects following the StageGate process within agreed timescales.Use design of experiments methodology where appropriate.Record all results in an accurate and clear manner.Contribute to the company's commitment to HSE excellence.Share results with other internal teams and regional R&D teams via team meetings, project reviews, etc.Candidate Profile: 5-10 years of relevant experience in Laboratory roles.Master's or PhD level education.High level of English and Spanish.
