Main duties:Be part of Advanced Composites Technology team, the main duties will be: Development of R&D Projects on the field automated manufacturing of polymer composites: work plan and manufacturing campaigns definition, control of experimental tests, results analysis, monitoring reports, deliverables and presentations.Continuous update on the State of the Art related with composites under the R&D projects.Congresses, conferences, and other scientific and dissemination events active attendee.Generation of ideas and technical innovations, participation within National and European R&D project proposals: definition of technical approach, objectives, SoA and work plan. Education:Degree in Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or any other that contains Materials Science and Engineering.Master / PhD / Postdoctoral in the field of composites or Materials Science and Engineering.Job specific skills:Previous expertise of at least 5 years in R&D in composites manufacturing (research centre, and/or academy field).Deep knowledge / specialization in polymer composites.Industrial Engineering or Materials Engineering Degree will be highly valued.Advanced level of MS Office software and auxiliary management tools.Advanced English level with capacity for: Project Management of European R&D projects, elaboration of European proposals, Networking, Dissemination, elaboration of articles, etc.Availability to travel. Driving license y and own vehicle.Desirable qualifications and skills:Knowledge on automated manufacturing of polymeric matrix composites such as Automated Fiber Placement (AFP), Automated Tape Laying (ATL) or Robotized Additive Manufacturing,Composites testing: common techniques and tests (physical, chemical, mechanical, thermal).Process monitoring and quality control of composite technologies.Knowledge of the different R&D calls (National and European) mainly in Horizon Europe Program.Team-working abilities in dynamic and multidisciplinary working environments.Advanced organizational skills and high autonomy level.
