.i2CAT's Digital Social Technologies (DST) department is looking for a new member who understands the world of technology, culture, industry, digital, green, and society. We are looking for someone who is familiar with the Fourth Helix model and its dynamics, who has enough cultural intelligence to work in interdisciplinary environments, and who is aligned with the digital, green, and social transition.This person must have a focus on human-centered technologies and innovation, with proven experience working with the parts of Fourth Helix organizations, both separately and as a whole.The selected candidate will work for a European project called FORGING - Forum for Emerging Enabling Technologies in Support of the Digital and Green Transitions through Value-Sensitive Innovations. This project aims to harness the transformative potential and embed value-sensitive considerations, such as environmental and societal impacts, from the early stages of the innovation journey that brings new emerging technologies to the market.With FORGING, we will propose a new methodology based on a value-sensitive innovation journey that breaks linear innovation trajectories to stimulate new technological visions and pathways that are environmentally and socially aware and human-centered in alignment with the technological framework of Industry 5.0.Responsibilities of the Selected Candidate: Understanding of the Fourth Helix Model and Its Dynamics: Knowledge and comprehension of the Fourth Helix model, which typically includes government, industry, academia, and society as key stakeholders working collaboratively in innovation processes.Cultural Intelligence and Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Essential for working in interdisciplinary environments where individuals from diverse backgrounds collaborate.
