Job Position Requirements (Skills/Languages/Required Experience):
OBJECT: Development of research tasks in biomedical data management, mathematical modelling, generation and validation of predictive models of the European project "A Biomarker-Based Platform for Early Diagnosis of Chronic Liver Disease to Enable Personalized Therapy", acronym: LiverAimBenefits.
FUNCTIONS:
Generation of a central data warehouse grouping and standardizing biomedical data from the different cohorts.
Generation and maintenance of the Data Management Plan.
Generation of predictive models with advanced mathematical techniques.
Comparative evaluation of standard statistical results with those of artificial intelligence algorithms.
Validation of prediction results.
Pivotal clinical trial design, plan document and analysis execution.
Dissemination and communication of research results.
Salary: 26,543.74 € added to the Plus Campus corresponding amount and other salary supplements that may correspond (Gross annual).
Eligibility Criteria:
University Degree (5); Degree in Applied Statistics (15); =24 credits in Health-related subjects (23).
C1 Catalan and C1 English (5); C1 Catalan and B1 English (4); C1 Catalan (1).
Advanced knowledge (16); Programming languages in SQL, Python, R (4); Statistical analysis: R, SAS, Python (4); Databases: SQL, BigQuery, SAS (4); Artificial Intelligence tools: GPT, machine learning, neural networks (4); Basic knowledge of interoperability models: OMOP Common Data Model, OpenEHR, FIHR, HL7 (3); Standard Microsoft office software (Excel, Word) advanced (1).
Work Experience and/or Internships: 12
Experience in Applied Statistics at a university center (minimum 6 months) in statistics in clinical research, statistics in scientific articles, regulatory statistics, and management, review and evaluation of clinical research articles and projects (8).
Prior experience in accessing and managing SQL system databases, and interoperability models. Access to Linux servers (4).
