Senior Regional Manager Global Marketing - Europe

Position Summary
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation of the CDD Marketing strategy in the Region. Part of the Global Sales & Marketing team, he/she strongly contributes to the development of the commercial strategy of Clinical Diagnostics Division. In close cooperation with the Commercial Regional Sales Leader, as well as with the different Business Units (BU), he/she leads the local marketing teams focusing on Growth initiatives and Customer Satisfaction and provides the CDD Global Marketing leadership with Market information related to the CDD product lines and market environment.
What will you do?
Lead the development and execution of Regional Go-to-Market growth strategies and tactics (i.e., marketing campaigns, programs, and projects) to drive adoption, increase demand, and ensure ongoing usage.
Execute downstream marketing linked with commercial excellence vision.
Make the link with the 3 BUs to cascade the strategy defined by them into the commercial organizations, as well as providing feedback and insights of the regional needs to the BUs.
Define & monitor the Annual Marketing Planning in the Region.
Positioning.
Customer segmentation & targeting.
Marketing Mix Implementation.
Own the development of annual marketing plans and budget aligned with the global strategy.
Coordinate product launch in the region in close cooperation with the BU Global Marketing, organizing & maintaining an appropriate reporting system regarding the launch of new products & services when applicable.
Implement and develop pricing initiatives.
Actively participate in global strategic planning and provide ongoing market intelligence to the global business unit.
Update market watch program regarding Market changes, Customer Needs, and Competitive situation.
Responsible for Marketing expenses in the Region.
Support the Commercial Regional Sales Leader for MBR, QBR, and specific reporting.
Drive the development of sales and customer-facing materials that align with the customer journey and key behaviors.
Develop and lead a high-functioning team to achieve and exceed expectations.
Set up priorities and coordinate activities.
Create strong relationships with relevant Key Opinion Leaders and Decision makers as well as Healthcare Authorities.
Develop networking inside the company and be a partner of those Key roles for success in the position.
Who we are looking for
Scientific Background: M.Sc, PhD in Biology, Medical Doctor, or Pharmacist.
Master in Business Administration or in Marketing (B to B, Healthcare) or equivalent in professional education.
10 years in Marketing positions in IVD or Medical Device sector as well as 3 years in a people management position.
Experience in sales is highly appreciated and recommended.
Able to communicate within the company and externally in an effective and authoritative manner.
Strategic skills.
The job holder should be an effective Project Manager, with strong execution and monitoring skills to lead in results.
Track record in successful launches of high-value products into the Healthcare sector.
A strong network of contacts across the healthcare community at all levels including not only lab Doctors but also Clinical Doctors.
Must have the intellectual capacity, problem-solving ability, strategic vision, and appetite to grow with the company and achieve accelerated career advancement accordingly.
Must have team spirit and the ability to work in a matrix organization.
Must have the flexibility to adapt and succeed in a rapidly growing business environment.
