The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with medium-large-scale EPC projects, and will play a crucial role in managing all commercial elements related to design and build projects. This role involves running projects, managing various upstream and downstream relationships, preparing cost estimates, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms.Report to:Commercial Manager Key Responsibilities:Revenue management (revenue applications, maximizing opportunities, opportunity management, contract variations and modifications and prevention of margin erosion)Cost Management (tenders analysis, effect cost control strategies, manage and monitor project budgets and costs)Contract Administration & Management (contract review and negotiation, contract administration, including reviewing and approving contract variations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and manage contract disputes, claims and litigation).Tendering & Procurement (oversee the procurement process, including the selection of suppliers and subcontractors, tender preparation, management and evaluation and post-tender negotiations)Risk Management (identifying potential risks, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, reporting)Cost Control and Reporting (responsible financial reporting, project cost and expenditure monitoring, reporting, forecasting, support decision-making and maintaining accurate project documentation)Project Management (management, collaboration and support to all stakeholders to support the delivery of projects on time and within budget).Stakeholders & general communication (assist with supplier agreement and sub-contractors management, client-liaison, clear transfer of project information, meetings, relationship-building). Preferred qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering or a related field.Professional membership with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), ASAQS or equivalent preferable, but not necessary. Experience:Minimum of 15 years of experience in quantity surveying/ cost engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior role.Knowledge of construction and engineering contracts.Comprehensive experience with construction software preferable.
