Responsibilities: Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Documentation and Training in quality engineering.
Receiving Inspection, In Process and Final Inspection, quality improvement.
Establish documentation using Emerson BP, certifications, and standards.
Measurement Instruments transfer, selection, and control.
Built-in Quality in the process.
Use Lean techniques to Detect, Stop, and Eliminate issues.
Participate in implementing quality certifications as required.
Work with BU to implement BP.
Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions determined by each department as a result of an audit or customer issues.
Review reports of non-conforming material and lead corrective and preventive actions for root cause analysis involving all departments.
Review engineering changes to make corresponding adjustments in production, supervising quality in the Manufacturing area.
Provide timely provisions on the use and/or destination of internal or external non-conforming materials.
Stay up-to-date on quality standards and customer specifications.
Follow up on Quality Assurance regarding the QMS.
Supervise subordinate personnel and check their work.
Manage reports of NC's (non-conformance), CAR's (Corrective Action Request), and operation sheets within the system.
Ensure compliance with procedures, standards, and specifications established in the quality management system related to their position.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations applicable in the company.
Perform any other activity assigned by your immediate boss.
Conduct internal audits of processes as per the annual program.
Hold informative meetings with engineers from the operations area and staff to present results of non-conforming material analysis and adopted corrective actions.
Attend and participate in quality system review meetings.
Coordinate, perform, and monitor internal audits.
Verify operation processes of test equipment.
Prepare weekly reports of quality results in the areas of responsibility.
Participate in continuous product quality improvement programs.
Act as an instructor in training programs (technical-practical) for Manufacturing and Quality Control personnel.
Participate in the introduction of new products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Establish corrective actions as a result of customer complaints.
Participate in Six Sigma projects as a "Green Belt" or team member.
Visit external suppliers to evaluate their quality system.
Review customer specifications to ensure compliance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in the English language at a 90% degree is required.
