Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Our teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.Responsibilities:Consult on new product development projects regarding quality related questions and ensure that project documents are managed properly.Conduct DOEs and testing as needed for development and manufacturing projects and generate associated documentation.Support Verification & Validation and Design Transfer activities.Collaborate with NPI and Manufacturing to develop receiving inspections, in-process inspections, and final acceptance testing for process development projects including the determination of best methods, instruments, and sampling plans.Perform document control activities ensuring the most current revisions are available while segregating and storing previous revisions.Support Process Validation activitiesParticipate in the Internal Audit program.Conduct NCR, Complaint, and CAPA activities to ensure proper disposition of non-conforming materials, root cause determination, and corrective/preventive actions.Evaluate suppliers for ability to provide needed materials/services including supplier audits.Manage instrumentation and equipment used for inspections and V&V activities including IQ and calibrations.Work collaboratively across sites, site functions, and with all levels of the organizationRequirements:Bachelor's Degree and minimum 8 years of related work experienceCurrent working knowledge of ISO 13485 or ISO 9001Strong MS Excel and Word experienceExcellent analytical skillsMust continually seek improvement and effect change in the operating systems.Ability to communicate effectively through email, instant messaging, and verbal methods.Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
