About the project Bingel is the adaptive all-round platform for primary education where teachers and pupils are central. Bingel assists the teacher in achieving his or her main goal: getting the best learning outcomes for each pupil. Its different modules support the teacher not only by offering the best quality teaching materials, but also by offering a range of time-saving solutions on planning, preparing, coaching and assessing.
Pupils in Belgium, Finland, Sweden, and the Netherlands love Bingel as their gamified learning platform for every-day use. Their personal avatar joins them while they're learning and adapted practicing, with which they earn virtual money that can be used for buying avatar accessories or games.
Responsibilities We're looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who will help us run a new testing framework from scratch, automate it and in the future take ownership of load and performance testing. The setup for automation/manual testing will be 70/30. You will work with a modern tech stack and experienced colleagues on one of our biggest and quickest-growing applications for students in Europe.
Requirements Must-have requirements: Experience with automation testing with Java and Selenium (5+ years of experience) Experience setting up new automation tests from scratch Experience with RestAssured (good knowledge) Git (good knowledge) Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Bitbucket Maven (good level of knowledge) Spring (basic knowledge) SQL (basic knowledge) Good communication skills in English Ability to work in an international environment Softskills: Analytical thinking Proactive mindset Outspoken personality to challenge the team, guard the quality and improve the product Continuous improvement mindset Nice-to-have requirements: Familiarity with BDD (Cucumber) BrowserStack or similar TestRail or a similar test management tool Some experience with Load testing (Jmeter / Gatling – performance testing) What we offer As an employer, Sanoma offers a working environment where you are able and encouraged to show your best self.
