Senior Python Developer

Pivotics is an AI software design and implementation company with the headquarters based in San Diego, California and its RD offices located in the EU and which is focused on AI/ DL products realization, web and start-up products development in Healthcare, Retail, eLearning and Manufacturing fields.Role Description:We are seeking an experienced Python Developer/ Team Lead to join our cross-cultural technical team and build efficient server-side applications for one of the biggest retail vendors in Mexico.Responsibilities:Include participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle and mentoring the team:Help design and implement functional and non-functional requirements.Coordinating with development teams to determine application requirements.Build efficient back-end applications in Python.Design and implement REST APIResponsibility for quality of the code.Delivering solutions into production.Mentoring team members.Requirements:Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams.Solid experience as Python developer (3-5 years of experience)Strong knowledge of OOPExperience with Python frameworks (like Django, Flask)Knowledge of relational databases, SQL, Python entity frameworks (like SQLAlchemy)Experience in building REST APIs.Understanding the DevOps culture and experience with containers is a plus.Contract terms:Work schedule: flexible and remote work scheduleContracts: B2BTerms: Full-time employment / ability to work from any EU locationFriendly and united international team of colleaguesKnowledge sharing, training and self-development opportunities14 days of paid vacation according to B2B contractAssistance with relocation if neededIf you feel that you are a great fit, please submit your CV.
