Vestas Global Procurement is an award-winning best-in-class Procurement function within the world's leading OEM for sustainable and renewable energy solutions. We are overall responsible for all Procurement activities within Vestas, including leading global and cross-functional teams, developing and implementing commodity strategies across modules, creating and capturing end-to-end value, supplier relationship management, and supplier account management, performance metrics monitoring and development.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on definition and deployment of the strategyDrive the standardization of processes within the departmentCreate standard toolsDrive the implementation of the sustainability strategy in Construction ProcurementManage tender processes, bid development, and sub-contract negotiationsDevelop supplier portfolioQualificationsBachelor's degree or higher, preferred within the field of engineering.At least 5 years of experience in subcontracting and purchasing mechanical and electrical works. Wind sector is preferred, but O&G and Infrastructure are valid.Construction project management experience is valued.Analytical and negotiation skillsExperience in project-based purchasing and pre-contract bid management, category management, and Supplier Relationship ManagementFluent English is mandatory.
