At Refinery89, we are seeking a Senior Publisher AdOperations to ensure the optimal performance of our network of hundreds of publishers and drive the expansion and development of our project.
As a Senior Publisher Ad Operations specialist, you will play a critical role in resolving technical issues for publishers and supporting the troubleshooting of ad-related problems across websites.
Your expertise will include debugging web console errors, applying advanced knowledge of HTML, JS and CSS to optimize web integrations.
Your Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve issues from publishers, ensuring effective and timely problem-solving of ad-related concerns.
Perform web console debugging to identify and fix errors impacting ad delivery and performance.
Work alongside the Publisher TAM team to troubleshoot integration, activation and placement monetization.
Update and provide publisher's data analysis.
You will work hand-in-hand with the Publisher Sales team to support account growth by analyzing the day-to-day performance of Publishers.
Seek for intelligent solutions that unlock additional revenue opportunities for publishers.
Apply HTML and CSS skills to enhance ad placement and functionality within publisher websites.
Leverage expertise in Prebid and header bidding to implement and optimize programmatic ad setups.
Share technical knowledge with the Technical Account Managers (TAM) team, providing training and guidance on resolving common technical issues.
Actively contribute to the team's learning and knowledge base to improve the speed and quality of issue resolution.
What You Need?
5+ years of experience, with good knowledge of programmatic ads, digital media metrics and web analytics.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Speaking more languages are a plus for the position.
Know-how optimizing ad placement and functionality within publisher websites.
In-depth knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, including ad formats, key performance indicators (KPIs), and technologies such as header bidding (SSPs, Prebid, Amazon TAM, Google Open Bidding).
Ability to work autonomously and in a changing, fast-paced start-up/scale-up environment.
Technical Skills (desirable) Basic knowledge of project management software (e.g.
JIRA) Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Preferred Experience: Experience with digital marketing and advertising systems (e.g., GAM, Prebid, AppNexus, Rubicon, Teads, Viralize, or similar systems).
Experience with Google Data Studio, PowerBI, or Amazon equivalent.
Experience at a publisher sales house, trading desk, ad-tech company, or digital agency.
Experience in an Ad Ops role working with a header bidding setup.
