About the Role Our Property Team is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Property Underwriter to deepen the existing client base for Spain and Portugal, support new client acquisition and provide high-quality deal analysis pursuing growth opportunities in cooperation with internal teams such as Claims, Risk Engineering, Business Services etc.
The dynamics of these markets require a strong focus on business development and innovation management, including technically demanding products and solutions.
You should have experience in underwriting both Multinational and Domestic Large and Medium Sized Corporates.
Key responsibilities: Underwrite for existing and new clients Analyse business opportunities using tools combined with underwriting judgement Establish and maintain a network of brokers and clients Ensure compliance with all internal guidelines, underwriting and pricing parameters, best practices as well as Code of Conduct Prepare quotations, structured programmes and offers proposals Participate in broker visits and contribute to building and maintaining broker relationships Contribute to developing our offering to make them suit the client needs and market practices Act as a point of reference for Property community on technical issues and keep track of new technologies and market trends About You We are looking for an open-minded, trustworthy and enthusiastic team player who can constructively and respectfully engage in challenging conversations.

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Minimum 7-10 years relevant experience in property underwriting/risk engineering of medium to large corporates Able to communicate and work in Spanish and English Good numeracy skills as well as good PC and software skills Ability to handle multiple deals in parallel without losing oversight High level of productivity and will to deliver Strong client focus, negotiation & marketing skills Excellent analytical skills and ability to think out of the box Proven intercultural competence and delighted team player in multidisciplinary environments and in international teams For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 72,000 and EUR 120,000 for a full-time role.
The specific salary offered considers: • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role, • the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
