Your role As a Senior Project Manager your main responsibilities will involve: End-to-End Solution Delivery.
Manage projects from initial idea to handover to Service Management, fostering strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
Utilize relevant PM frameworks, methodologies, and standards (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to ensure successful project execution.
Understand customer objectives to define engagement models, lead initial setups, create blueprints, and develop implementation plans for mid/long-term IT solutions.
Lead and direct geographically dispersed project teams, including external providers, ensuring cohesive integration among team members.
Ensure the completion of all project management deliverables to the required standards.
Proactively manage project risks, establish effective controls, and drive mitigation actions.
Track key project metrics, issues, risks, and changes, producing monthly status reports.
Ensure compliance with quality standards for project deliverables.
Ensure alignment with Service Management and support the ramp-up of the operational model.
Provide full transparency regarding project execution in terms of budget, timelines, scope, and quality status.
Active, "hands-on" participation, working directly with stakeholders and delivery teams.
Actively engage with stakeholders and delivery teams, building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders from Business Units (BUs) and Group Functions, as well as external parties (e.g., cloud providers, fintech).
Your Skills and Experience As a Senior Project Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include: Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science and/or Business Management with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience delivering IT solutions related to AML, CTF, and Trade and Economic Sanctions is a plus but not essential.
High proficiency in Project/Program management, Software engineering, and Software development.
Proven track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in ambiguous situations, considering long-term risks and implications.
Experience in internal or external consulting, leading and facilitating collaborative solution design or strategy sessions for the insurance industry.
Strong communication and presentation skills up to C-Level, with robust stakeholder management skills in global and complex contexts.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are beneficial.
