.DT Global is shaping a future where sustainable development and innovation empower individuals, communities, and nations.We work in partnership with local stakeholders to foster inclusive prosperity, social equity, and environmental stewardship.Our global team of 2,500 staff and experts work in over 90 countries to solve complex problems in the peacebuilding, governance, economic development, environment, and human development sectors.With a track record of technical excellence and more than 60 years of international development experience and relationships, we deliver innovative solutions that transform lives.The Project Management Division is in charge of the implementation of projects, from contract signature to project closure, delivery and approval of the final report and final payments receipt, and confirmation by the client / beneficiary satisfaction certificate.The Senior Project Manager will work under the supervision of the Director of the Project Management Division.RESPONSIBILITIES AND ROLE Autonomous management and control of large / complex projects, anticipating risks and planning accordingly, and identifying situations that need to be escalated or reported.Leads customer relationship (contracting authority, beneficiary/s, partners, experts) creating long term relationships.Understands and controls all financial and budgetary implications of their project and its contribution to overall department and company objectives; controls cash flow; oversees and/or actively participates in audit processes; understands and encourages contractual amendments or addenda for project budget improvement.Monitors project's technical results (outputs, outcomes); is responsible for the quality of results and deliverables, workplan follow up, knowledge management (including contractual/administrative documentation as well as relevant technical documentation) and oversees archiving and filing (sometimes with the support of more junior members of the team).Conducts complex contract negotiations, manages conflict situations (identifies when it is necessary to escalate or involve other people in the team or DT Global).Actively commercially minded, identifies and pursues commercial opportunities related to their project or network of contacts.Actively trains other team members, both "on-the-job" (working in tandem) and by providing training on different topics
