Job Purpose We are seeking a Senior Project Manager who will oversee several initiatives that enable the delivery of a high-quality service to customers and end users.
For this role, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record in successfully managing programs and projects related to Infrastructure and Business Applications implementation.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the execution and delivery of strategic projects within our organization.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities Program Management: Lead the coordination, planning, execution, and governance of multiple related projects aligned with the strategic and operational objectives of Straumann.
Project Planning: Lead the planning process, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline development, and risk assessment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project objectives are clearly defined and aligned with business goals.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and project team members.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Execution: Monitor project progress, track milestones, and proactively identify potential roadblocks.
Implement mitigation strategies and take corrective action to keep projects on track for successful delivery.
Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensure cost-effective solutions, and make well-informed decisions to maximize ROI.
Quality Assurance: Implement best practices and quality standards to deliver high-quality projects that meet or exceed expectations.
Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate user adoption and minimize resistance to system and process changes.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans to address project challenges and ensure project success.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular project status reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, requirements, meeting notes, and issue logs.
Requirements needed Education: - A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or a relevant field - Certifications in the area of IT Service (ITIL V4) and Project Management (Prince2, Scrum etc.)
Experience: - 10 years of experience in IT service management (ITIL) processes working in international companies.
- 5 years of experience leading programs and projects.
- 2 years of experience as the responsible function for the Project Management Office.
- A proven track record of building, managing, and continuously developing Project and Service Processes, Delivery Management, and Project Management Office.
- Deep hands-on experience in managing Service Improvement Programs (SIP), Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA), etc.
- Experience using ServiceNow as a platform to manage demands and projects.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in end-to-end process ownership.
- Deep knowledge and proven track records of managing agile project methods, ideally with SAFe and Scrum.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to engage with and present to the executive level; further languages a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment where a high degree of cross-functional collaboration is required to deliver outstanding results.
