Key Responsibilities Oversee and lead engineering design teams, ensuring quality and adherence to project goals.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively, aligning with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and administer contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, public agency personnel, and internal teams.
Conduct site assessments and engineering design studies, considering infrastructure needs and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate and process public improvement plans, regulatory plans, and land development documentation, particularly within Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
Perform construct ability reviews and provide construction support services.
Utilize Auto CAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Projects, and Blue beam to support design and project management.
Qualifications and Experience bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license in California.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in land development or public works, with at least 8 years in a management role.
Proven leadership skills, with experience supervising engineers, designers, and project support staff.
Proficient in project scheduling, budget management, and client/public-agency relations.
Skilled in CAD software and construction management principles.
Strong decision-making, leadership, and strategic planning abilities.
Expertise in negotiation, jurisdictional processing, and resource allocation.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
