Senior Project ManagerOur opportunity Responsible for the operational management of distinct mid-size local/regional projects or mid-size projects of a program and ensures that the overall project objectives are clearly defined and met. These projects are characterized by medium complexity, medium change and communications elements and important business impact. Understands and is able to apply different delivery approaches (waterfall, Scrum, ZurichLean) and performs, independently, project management processes to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control as well as close a project in accordance with the Zurich Project Management Framework and the Zurich Risk Policy.Your role Program Delivery team within Investment Solutions (Investment Admin & Accounting function) is responsible for the delivery of all changes related to FSCM. The team works closely with FSCM BAs and IT in each project.
As a Senior Project Manager your main responsibilities will involve: Manages and delivers multiple projects, small & medium sized in the area of Investment Accounting & Administration.Facilitates and coordinates completion of its agreed deliverables with the project team.Responsible for the overall quality of project deliverables and removing any impediments to delivery the project on quality, time and budget.Manages the dependencies internal and external to the project.Communicates effectively with project stakeholders, customers and leadership team to manage expectation and outcome.Ensure timely and appropriate planning, collection, creation, distribution, storage, retrieval, management, control, monitoring, and the ultimate disposition of project information to enable effective decision making and ensure successful project outcomes.Adheres to the overall Zurich Project Management Framework and PMO's governance (project charter, project budget and funding, risk/issue management, project plan, change request, status updates, etc).Your Skills and Experience As a Senior Project Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include: At least 10-15 years of project management experience, managing large, multi-functions, multi-geography projects in Financial Institution companies.At least 3-5 years of experience managing scrum / agile projects.PMP or other project management certification.Ability to adapt to Zurich preferred project management tool.Experience in managing distributed project teams in a multi-cultural environment.Good knowledge of investment instruments and investment accounting process.Strong communication and presentation skills and experience in working with C-level.Fluent English is a must.Experience in applying different project management methodologies (i.e. waterfalls, scrum, agile etc.).Knowledge of SAP TRM would be beneficial.Benefits: Over 300 euros to set up your home office and additional monthly home office allowance.Wide range of internal and external trainings, including free English and Spanish classes depending on the needs.Ticket restaurant or flexibility to exchange it for other benefits.Life, accident, and Health Insurance.Collective Life Retirement Plan.2000 referral bonus if you bring other talented people like you.Special banking and insurance conditions plus Exclusive Employees discounts.Functional diversity benefits.No dress code.Primary work location is Barcelona, Via Augusta.
