Find your place at Amaris Consulting as Senior IT Project Manager in Madrid (remote from Spain or hybrid mode), for one of our main partners in the banking industry. Start your new adventure in an international and agile environment by leading multi-disciplinary teams of strategic and operational planning, and actively leading PMO operations.
WHAT WILL YOU DO? Project Governance : Ensuring adherence to project governance processes and standards, even in a distributed work environment.
Budgeting and Cost Control : Overseeing project budgets, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-control measures to optimize project costs.
Change Management : Managing changes in project scope, requirements, or resources in an offshore environment, and effectively communicating the impact on the project.
Conflict Resolution : Ability to address conflicts that may arise in a distributed team and facilitate resolutions to maintain a harmonious work environment.
Relationship Building : Developing strong relationships with the offshore team, fostering trust, and encouraging effective collaboration.
Quality Assurance : Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with the project scope and requirements.
Metrics and Reporting : Proficiency in tracking project progress, KPIs, and performance metrics to provide accurate and timely reports to stakeholders.
Risk Management : Identifying potential risks associated with the offshore collaboration and implementing strategies to mitigate them for successful project delivery.
WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? More than 6 years of relevant experience as IT Project Manager, ideally in the banking environment.
Ideally based in Madrid.
Great knowledge of project management methods & experience with Agile.
Excellent planning capacities & stakeholders management.
Ability to coordinate tasks and meetings across different time zones, ensuring smooth communication and timely project updates.
Client-facing communication skills.
Proficiency in managing projects with a distributed team and addressing challenges specific to an offshore environment.
Spanish native and English fluency is a must. Any other language would be considered a plus.
NICE TO HAVE Experience in Banking would be highly appreciated.
