Position: Renewable Energy Senior Developer Responsibilities: Opportunity Identification: Research and assess new locations and opportunities for the development of renewable energy projects (mainly wind and BESS).
Feasibility Analysis: Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies, including resource analysis, environmental impact assessments, and financial viability evaluations.
Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of the project from inception to completion.
This includes obtaining permits, licenses, and managing suppliers and contractors.
Stakeholder Relations: Collaborate with local governments, regulators, communities, and other key stakeholders to ensure support and compliance with local regulations.
Proposal Development: Prepare proposals and presentations for investors, executives, and other stakeholders.
Technical Supervision: Help coordinate the engineering and construction of projects, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress and provide regular reports on status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements: Education: Degree in Engineering (preferably in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar fields).
Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in developing renewable energy projects in Spain, with a solid track record of successfully completed projects.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with renewable technologies, resource analysis, and power generation systems.
Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Spanish regulations regarding renewable energy and infrastructure development.
Management Skills: Advanced project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and managing multidisciplinary teams.
Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and, preferably, a good level of English.
Other Competencies: Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong results orientation.
Working Conditions: Contract Type: Full-time.
Travel Availability: National travel is required, depending on project locations.
Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
