Wood is currently recruiting a Senior Project Control Coordinator to join our Project Control team.In this role, you will provide a complete Project Control service to the project management team that has proven expertise in managing large, complex projects with a global reach. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in upstream oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals and chemicals.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of detailed engineering schedules in conjunction with lead discipline engineersDevelopment of engineering progress measurement systems and reporting of progress and productivityProvide regular forecasting of project schedule including key milestonesProduction of weekly and monthly progress reports to the project management teamBudget recast and set-up based on original estimationControl productive Manhours. In case of reimbursable projects, preparing Certification Mhrs for invoicingProductivity curves and Earned Value Method to determine Engineering Mhrs forecastContract Changes. Identification and monitoring works not included in contractual scopeAnalyse current project's status, estimate its tendency in the future and inform managers in case of important deviationsIssue of monthly Cost Report (Control of equipment, bulk materials, sub-contracts, direct and indirect costs, invoicing)Cash Flow CurveRisks and Opportunities AnalysisQualificationsRelevant degree / Chartered Engineer or appropriate experienceA proven track record in engineering and construction of refinery, oil gas, petrochemical, or similar facilitiesExperience of FEED and EPC projects, including revamp projectsA pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job doneExpert with Primavera P6 and spreadsheets, with database capabilitySelf-motivated, energetic, and tenaciousSpanish language at native levelExcellent command of EnglishAvailable immediatelyAbout UsWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
