ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Product Specialist to join our Product team and be instrumental in driving the success of our Aircraft Communication portfolio. This Product portfolio manages the end-to-end communication network enabling aircraft to constantly be in contact with the ground and vice versa.
As a Product Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the backend systems critical to the operation of our services. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant cross-functional impact in a technically complex and innovative environment: You will work at the intersection of aviation and telecommunication technologies, in a role that drives tangible value for our business and operations. You will be part of a team managing critical infrastructure and enabling future innovations in air-ground communication.
This role is based in Barcelona, and ideal for a candidate with 3 to 5 years of strong experience in product management, and knowledge of telecommunication industry.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Roadmap Development and Business Management of our core Datalink systems
- Define Product roadmap items to be developed, ensuring alignment with business objectives,
- Track execution and present updates to stakeholders.Requirements Gathering and Specification
- Collaborate with various teams to gather business and technical requirements.
- Translate needs into clear and actionable requirements.
- Prioritize requirements and secure capacity planning as needed.Business Case Development
- Build, maintain, and update business cases to support investment decisions,
- Identify areas for process and operational optimization that deliver value to the business.Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Support internal communications and manage transversal stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment and clarity.Roadmap development Ownership
- Prepare materials and presentations for Product phase reviews.
- Obtain alignment and sign-off from stakeholders. Support the presentation to steering committees to advance projects through the approval process.Metrics and Success Criteria
- Support the definition of KPIs and success criteria for projects to measure the value creation, efficiency, and outcomes. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2–5 years of experience in product management, ideally with exposure to backend or non-customer-facing systems.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and proven experience in roadmap definition, requirements gathering, and cross-functional team alignment.
- Familiarity with capacity planning and release management is a plus.
