.JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description SummaryIn this role, the Senior Product Service Engineer will be responsible to independently identify, analyze and solve systematic wind turbine issues that are mainly blade related. The Product Service Engineer will partner with the regional, global and functional teams to drive a culture of proactivity, quality and collaboration in Fleet Reliability Operations (FRO) through tackling systemic issues early, developing tools that detect indications of unconformities and driving timeliness implementation of corrective actions to reduce cost of quality (COQ)and to improve fleet performance and availability. Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for blade related major field issues and End of Warranty Reports by providing the resolution input for PAC casesIdentify reoccurring problems related to blades, track and trend them and problem description for further root cause investigationParticipate in technical reviews related to blades with GE / LM blade engineering- and quality functions and ensure lessons learned are followed to avoid reoccurring issuesProject manage Importante empresa local Service Areas, Engineering and end customersParticipate with cross-functional teams in Field Service, Repairs, Parts, Engineering and the Global Supply Chain (GSC) to reduce overall wind turbine lifecycle costsCreate work instructions and troubleshooting guidelines to provide the Service teams the righttools to be more efficientCommunicate teams? progress to customers and business leadersDrive a culture of fastworks and digitalizationQualifications / RequirementsFundamental experiences in composites gained from blade production and blade repairs or bachelor degree of applied science in mechanical engineering incl.Composites from an accredited college or universityFluency in English language, both written and spokenEngineering-, manufacturing- or servicing experience in mechanical blade design, lightning protection system and blade boltsProven ability to catch technical context quick and easy and proven ability to design simple and solid technical solutions. Proven ability to work efficiently without direct supervision and with different teams
