Your mission:
As the Senior Product Manager for Payments, you will play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of Bitpanda's payment systems.
You'll lead efforts to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and global reach of our payment solutions while delivering a seamless customer experience.
Your expertise will ensure that Bitpanda continues to offer world-class payment services aligned with our vision of making investing accessible to everyone.
What you'll do: Take ownership of the product strategy, development, and optimisation of all payment systems across fiat and crypto, including deposits, withdrawals, and on-platform transactions.Define and execute the roadmap for payment solutions, integrating open banking capabilities (e.g., instant payments, payment initiation, account information) and modern payment technologies.Analyse, understand, and implement diverse international payment methods, including SEPA, SWIFT, card payments, direct debits, and regional alternatives.Lead strategic initiatives to expand and optimise partnerships with banks, payment providers, and financial institutions, supporting global market expansion.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the end-to-end customer journey for payments, ensuring simplicity, security, and efficiency.Manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with Bitpanda's short- and long-term business goals.Act as a thought leader within the organisation for payment-related innovations, compliance considerations, and emerging technologies.Who you are: 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on payments, fintech, or financial services.Deep understanding of international payment systems, open banking, and digital wallets.Passionate about the intersection of technology and finance, with a strong interest in crypto and blockchain technologies.Proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Skilled at working within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or LeSS.Strong analytical and organisational skills, with a data-driven mindset.Excellent communicator with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared vision.Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.What's in it for you We're proud of our flexible working model that includes 2 days (minimum) working from the local Hub, plus 60 Work From Anywhere days annually.Competitive benefits programs and policies shaped by our flexibility-first philosophy.Exclusive premiums when trading on Bitpanda.Company-wide and team events — both in-person and virtually!Bitpanda swag to keep you living the brand.And, above all, the opportunity to learn and grow as part of Bitpanda's incredible journey towards being Europe's future #1 investment platform.
