We are looking to hire a Sr.
Product Manager.
This person will own our Integrations and Marketplace strategy and is responsible for all the ways that Mattermost can be extended to meet customized use cases and integration with 3rd party tools through apps, plugins, bots, webhooks, and slash commands.

You will deliver best-in-class experiences with close collaboration with cross-functional technical, business, and external teams.
You will be measured by how many monthly active users are using integrations within the Mattermost platform and how many integrations are added to the marketplace each month.
You should be a hands-on and technically savvy Product Manager who is constantly identifying user problems and thinking critically about which to prioritize.
You know how to measure and interpret the results of your teams' efforts.
You can effectively navigate complex systems and can communicate product requirements to both engineering and non-technical teams.
You love working on teams, side-by-side with the best engineers and designers.
You easily manage several projects at once and you don't miss deadlines.
Responsibilities include:In-product integration usage and discovery: Delivers and maintains features that improve integration usage with the product - including features that interact with core product interfaces, to enable administration (install, configure, manage, permissions), and end-user discovery and access.Integration methods and functionality: Delivers and maintains integration solutions to meet a wide variety of integration use cases including slash commands, webhooks, bots, apps, plugins, actions, APIs.Mattermost "certified" integrations: Prioritizes timely bug fixes and improvements on 'Mattermost certified' integrations, which are guaranteed by Mattermost, used widely by a large population of Mattermost customers, and have strategic product value.Integration development partners: Manage the budget and initiatives required to commission new integrations for specific customers and to fulfill marketable use cases, to be built by and maintained by community partners, business partners, development contractors.Integration development frameworks: Manage the development and content creation for development frameworks (Apps, Plugins, and public APIs) which enable developers to build their customized integrations.Integrations Telemetry: Measure integration usage and develop insights with data to drive decision making on integration strategies.Required Background/Skills:6+ years of Product Management experience working on B2B collaboration products (bonus if you've previously owned a marketplace and integrations roadmap with a focus on a developer persona).Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management or related fields, or significant experience in managing initiatives between technical and business functions.Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to gather complicated requirements from customers and turn them into simple, high-impact solutions.Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.Capable of turning ambiguity into action, and driving meaningful change in a fast-paced environment; including business development, project, process, and budget management to enable successful outcomes with external development agencies.Embrace our values: #leadership-principles.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to navigate complex technical challenges by aligning internal and external stakeholders on a common goal.Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment where you are prepared to initiate and thrive in change.Mattermost is a remote-first company with staff living and working across the globe.
