Customers such as Airbnb, Viber, Whatsapp, Snapchat, and many others depend on our APIs and SDKs to connect with their customers all over the world.Why this role matter:As Vonage API Platform global communication networks and channels grow the greater the need for implementing carrier and country regulation changes and fraud management to stop bad actors using our platform.This is a pivotal role in the Product Team working transversely with our Product Managers and business owners to solve and assist in the implementation of software based Compliance and Regulatory requirements.We are looking for a telecom Regulatory or Compliance expert wanting to expand their experience and grow into a critical role covering all areas supporting all products that have regulatory, privacy or compliance requirements.What you will do:Own the strategy of Vonage Compliance roadmap by working with Carrier, Security, Legal, and individual Product Managers to provide solutions and manage deliveryOwn and deliver the roadmap, with individual Product Managers, key regulatory changes such as Stir/Shaken, 10DLC (over channels such as voice or SMS) and backend systems such as KYC.Create and manage the processes to manage regulatory requests across the business with communications working coordinating with individual Product Managers with deliveryAssist with identifying solutions to address regulatory, compliance or privacy requirementsDesign and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policiesWhat you will bring:Experience working on-the-ground delivering compliance solutions for SaaS providers or similar servicesSubject matter expertise on local telecoms regulations globally, fraud attack vectors and compliance requirementsUnderstanding of software development and processes within security and compliance realmAbility to work with different stakeholders across the business from software Engineers through to Finance, Security, Legal and Operations teamsWhat is required for application:RequiredStrong knowledge and experience in areas includingregulations, KYC, and Data Sovereignty, Cloud SecurityPrevious experience of working with engineers toidentify and implement regulatory and compliance fixes and solutionsStrong knowledge indata protection and compliance, security-oriented cloud services, fraud vector analytics, and threat detection and preventionProven experience working as abusiness subject matter expert or in a technical capacity within compliance & regulationsMinimum05+ years experiencein a relevant sector and functionMinimum05+ years of Product or Operational Management experienceExperience inworking for or with regulators either directly or via industry bodies, telcos or cloud industriesDesiredExcellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keepingMethodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilitiesAn analytical mind able to "see" the complexities of procedures and regulationsCertified compliance professional is a plusExperience withAgile methodologies & tools (e.G.
