Job Description: The role of the Senior Product Manager, Buyer and Seller Solutions will be under the Product and Solutions Organization in Visa, supporting the Head of Buyer and Seller Solutions, Southern Europe, in delivering the consumer products strategy for Spain and ensuring that Visa's core proposition remains best in class, across debit, credit, prepaid, Premium, Loyalty solutions and data products. This role will be a unique combination of leadership, strategic vision, business development, technology architecture, hands-on support and client facing relationship management skills. The role will require strong consultative client engagement, active listening and relationship building skills to understand client strategy, priorities and needs. The role also requires strong cross-functional collaboration and teamwork, partnering closely with internal Visa teams to integrate client go-to-market.
Based on the international travel restrictions due to Covid-19, the role may require limited traveling across the markets of Southern Europe and to Visa's Europe headquarters in London.
Flex Work Arrangement - Hybrid Position - This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications:
Have deep knowledge and passion around emerging payments technologies and their potential to change commerce. Think like, communicate with, and inspire business leaders and developers to build their new products using Visa Products and Solutions.Keeps abreast of payment technology developments, market trends and tracks competitive landscape.Have a robust understanding of consumer payment products and broad payments industry knowledge & experience.Highly collaborative, bringing a structured problem-solving approach to client engagements and documentation, employing solutioning, moderation and facilitation skills.Able to combine aspects of the business and commercialization with technical skills.Able to translate client needs into product requirements by adapting existing product and solutions to client and market's needs.Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with financial analysis.Essential Criteria Relevant experience at a large European bank, leading financial institution or global payment company, and/or management consulting experience in financial services and payments.Proven experience in the delivery and launch of new services and products across numerous markets.Comfort in regular budget and performance tracking against business KPIs.Driven, resilient and positive under pressure.Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal.Quick learner and flexible.Constructive, action and solution-oriented.Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.Additional Information
