Key Job Responsibilities:
Launch Amazon Echo devices: You will be launching the Amazon Echo smart speaker line-up in Spain, ensuring those flagship products exceed our customers' expectations while coordinating with a large number of internal Amazon stakeholders against a tight timeline.
Help Alexa get smarter: You will enhance the current Alexa experience by identifying improvement opportunities, addressing customer pain points, and finding ways to make Alexa more enjoyable for everyone.
Design new Alexa features: Join the Spain country team in developing new features by conducting User Experience (UX) studies and correlating those with data insights.
Localize global Alexa features: Involve yourself in the design process to contribute requirements for Spain, ensuring that the product feels local and provides a great customer experience.
A Day in the Life:
Come up with new ideas to improve the Alexa product for a large customer base.
Navigate through incomplete and large sets of data to generate insights and formulate a target vision, driving a roadmap of initiatives to achieve this vision.
Work hands-on with a pragmatic approach to meet launch deadlines.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to market.
Be willing to learn and explore areas outside your comfort zone, including the technical backbone of Alexa, press events, marketing, and go-to-market processes.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in product management (having launched a B2C or B2B product), working with tech teams, and UX design; experience with localization of products is a plus.
Ability to define customer experience needs, identify gaps, feature enhancements, and opportunities.
Fluency in Spanish language and culture is a hard requirement for this position.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Science, Design, or other relevant areas.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate recommendations to senior leaders and influence stakeholders.
Experience and understanding of generative AI and LLMs.
