You'll work within the product design team, collaborating with other designers to make the best designs and solutions for the product. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.What You'll Do:Work with product managers, engineers, and design to understand how our customers use Datadog and what they need to succeedSee your design work through from start to finish: turn insights from user research into ideas, sketch and prototype to bring them to life, and ship products and features that make Datadog betterBe the expert in your product area, mentoring designers on the team to do their best workCommunicate both your design work and the support for your design decisions across the companyWork closely with engineering teams to understand and see through how your designs will be builtWho You Are:You have 4+ years of full-time experience in digital B2B product design, with familiarity or strong interest in the cloud monitoring/observability/security industriesYour portfolio includes a proven track record of shipping interaction design work in web applicationsYou thrive in the UX design space but are also fluid in the visual design spaceYou are an excellent visual and written communicator, able to clearly communicate your design work and the support for your design decisionsYou have experience with prototyping tools (e.G. Figma, Principle, Framer, etc.)You understand systems thinking and component-based design patternsYou give and receive feedback well, supporting and improving the work of your colleagues as well as your ownDatadog values people from all walks of life.
