What is the Delivery capability?The Delivery capability covers the core procurement activities from category management, strategic and operational sourcing, supplier management, content strategy definition, and execution. The Delivery capability comprises many communities grouping categories of the same value chain or having commonality. The communities are critical enablers of strong category expertise while allowing flexibility in the procurement delivery response to the evolving needs of our customers.
This position is part of the Digital & Tech Procurement team reporting into the Procurement Delivery Lead - Digital & Tech.

Leading a team of procurement delivery specialists and experts, you will work with them to best allocate activities and align with other team managers to optimize overall resource utilization while ensuring alignment between team member competencies and development needs with work assignments.

As a Sr. Procurement Delivery Manager, you will play a variety of roles according to your experience, knowledge, and the general business/team requirements, such as:
Delivery domain expert providing leadership, advice, and know-how on delivery capability topics, strategies, and best practices, and shaping and defining the capability area priorities.Procurement delivery practitioner managing and coaching a team of Procurement Delivery Managers and providing opportunities for professional development through leveraging category management, sourcing, negotiation, contracting, supplier management, and project management skills to deliver on objectives.Operational effectiveness champion ensuring resource expertise and capacity, and utilization, with a focus on driving enhancements and the development of automated delivery offerings.You will work within the broader team, GP networks, and squads to determine the various roles needed to deliver projects or support others in project and foundational work delivery.
Your SkillsYou hold a university degree, with a business degree preferable. You have 7+ years of experience in global category management, strategic sourcing, complex procurement contracting, and operational category efficiency projects.
In addition, you have:
Very strong people management and people development experience with strong communication, change management, and influential skills.Extensive IT sourcing, IT procurement, and/or IT vendor management experience and specific category knowledge in Infrastructure, Application Services and/or Software Licensing from a large-scale organization.Executive presence and comfortable with interacting with both internal stakeholders and external vendor senior leadership.Demonstrated project management skills.Business level fluency in English.Mindset and BehaviorsYou strive to act as an enterprise thinker and leverage knowledge and expertise to create solutions for business customers by proactively fostering collaboration, including across the procurement network.
