We are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join the team based in Tarragona .
About The Role: You will be responsible for the delivery of technically and qualitatively high-level process engineering design within proposals, studies, project execution, and operations, as part of a study and/or project team, in accordance with design and engineering standards, procedures, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality standards, targets, and customer satisfaction.
Your main missions and responsibilities will be to: Develop design basis.
Create process descriptions.
Prepare PFDs and heat & material balances.
Establish MSD and material selection philosophy.
Design control schemes.
Create Process and Utility P&IDs.
Prepare equipment & instrumentation datasheets.
Summarize utilities and chemicals consumption.
Conduct simulations and calculations.
Coordinate process team activities.
About You: Master's degree in chemical engineering.
At least 10 years of experience in Process Engineering and 5 as a leader, with significant experience in team supervision and/or coordination.
Theoretical knowledge of process design methods & tools.
Knowledge of HYSYS, ASPEN, HTRI, and Flowmaster.
Fluent in English and Spanish; other languages (French, German, etc.)
are valuable.
Experience in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical Industry.
