Your Opportunity: New Relic is looking for an experienced Senior Principal Product Manager interested in bringing to life a brand new product area targeting engineering teams and their supporting organizations to help them respond to incidents faster, improve engineering efficiency, and implement compliance at scale. This is a unique opportunity to build a new product area from zero to one and beyond. You will work across the company to drive product discovery, strategy, and execution for these new products.
Responsibilities:Lead the definition and execution of a set of complementary products that helps engineers and engineering organizations resolve incidents faster, implement best practices, and ensure compliance at scale.Work closely with senior leaders and C-level to define and refine the product definition and strategy.Work across the entire company to deliver these various products.Work with UX designers and engineers to deliver new platform experiences that benefit all of New Relic.Build strong partnerships with internal New Relic teams as well as external customers to drive decision-making and influence product direction.Establish business metrics for your areas and use them along with key market research to drive decision making.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other go-to-market teams to build launch and growth plans.Meticulously think through every aspect of the overall customer experience, putting users' needs first in the definition of requirements.Serve as key spokesperson for the business, delivering clear, compelling communications across New Relic and outside the company to garner any support required to successfully implement the business.This Role Requires:Years of experience product managing technical products built for developers.Experience building delightful user experiences for highly complex products.Ability to distill sophisticated topics and feedback into clear, prioritized, business or user cases and product requirements.Experience collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders.Experience working in medium-to-large software companies.Experience working on or leading enterprise / B2B products.Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead across an organization, communicate appropriately to various audiences including executive level, perseverance and determination.Excellent analytical / problem-solving skills, including data analysis.Background in SaaS and cloud-based software.Participation in all stages of the software development lifecycle.Bonus Points If You Have:Previous experience with data visualization.Past experience building or using cloud services and platforms.
