As a Senior Practice Manager at AWS, you will be responsible for evolving and leading a practice of Professional Services Consultants working with customers and partners to sell and deliver innovative solutions in South countries (Italy, Spain and Portugal). You will routinely engage with Director, VP, C-level executives and governing boards and other senior leaders to win and lead successful IT transformations in Italy, Iberia and Portugal.
You will be responsible developing strategic plans to build and evolve AWS products and offerings. You will drive opportunity capture and engagement delivery. You will work closely with partner teams; driving business development initiatives and meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction targets.
You will build high performing teams of consultants with excellent sales skills, technical depth, and innovative customer relationship skills, all while encouraging career focused progression including capabilities of AWS.
You are a people and sales professional who likes to get involved and work for customers through your teams and direct engagement and you travel to your customers as needed. You are passionate about using technology to solve business problems that have big customer impact.
Work effectively in a cross-functional environment within EMEA Sales, ProServe, Legal, Technical, and product management teams.

Key job responsibilities
This role requires extensive experience in selling large deals and delivering IT solutions in agile environment. You will build relationships with customers, collaborate with sales leaders and engineering teams to create cross-functional teams both internally and externally to develop strong customer and partner relationships while building and growing the business in your practice. You will drive AWS adoption in key markets and accounts. You will collaborate with AWS training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent experience.
- 7-10 years experience in customer service or similar experience in Global Service Integrator (GSI) or Big Five environment.
- Fluency in Italian.
- Ability to drive process creation, change management and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in Pipeline and Forecast Management and tools.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with Sales Methodology - MEDPICC (Metrics, Economic buyer, Decision criteria, Decision process, Paper process, Identify pain, Champion, and Competition).
- Proficiency with Lean and Six Sigma tools.
- Strong data analysis tools, using MS excel and similar software.
- Excellent technical and analytical aptitude, including some knowledge of statistics.
- Experience in FSI, Manufacturing and Media industry is a plus.
