In this instance, we are on the lookout for a Principal Piping Designer to be in charge of all technical activities related to the piping design of process units in Oil & Gas projects.
Location: Barcelona
Work Modality: Hybrid
Responsibilities:
Takes full responsibility for the design activities of an assigned unit.
Reports to the project piping leader.
Learns and handles all applicable job specifications, piping classes, standards, and working instructions needed for the correct development of assigned work.
Transmits instructions to and manages an assigned design team.
Develops the most critical designs and supports less experienced designers.
Coordinates with other specialists involved in the studies (civil, stress, material, supports) and follows up on interfaces.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or Technical Degree.
More than 6 years of work experience in a similar function.
Relevant experience in companies providing engineering services to the Chemical, Refining, or Petrochemical Industry.
Proficiency in Spanish and English (B1 level).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral in English.
Experience and knowledge of Softwares: E3D, AutoCAD, and Microstation.
