As Senior Payroll Specialist you will ensure Payroll processes principles and guidelines for Iberia. Also, coordinate the implementation of new Payroll projects.
Major accountabilitiesManage legally required processes in close collaboration with authorities (e.g. tax authority, Social Security body)Coordinate and manage relation with Payroll external vendor.Manage international tax assessments (supplementary tax payments and reimbursements)Provide support in international equity- and incentive-relevant statements and matters, ensure correct taxation and build accruals accordinglyResponsible of monthly salary payments in accurate and timely mannerExtract reports needed for payroll and other reports upon requestClose collaboration with FRA, TCM e.g. account reconciliation, accrualsAct as a SPOC and subject matter expert for employees, leaders and works council in Payroll related processesCoordinate to cross country Payroll projects: contact person for Payroll migration projectKeep Up to date in regards of legal ChangesAssess intercompany reimbursements and correct accounting for International AssigneesEnsure correct taxation of gains, benefits, company cars, etc.This opportunity is located at the Sandoz offices in Madrid.

What you'll bring to the role:
- Relevant professional education in business management or similar studies (Bachelor/Master degree in HR/Accounting/ Business or related field is preferred)
- Excellent Spanish and English spoken and written.
- +8 years professional experience with payroll/coordinating payroll and/or P&O administration.
- In-depth Knowledge of Spanish Payroll
Desired requirements:
- Working experience in SSC environment is an advantage.
- HRIS system (SAP or Workday) knowledge . Highly appreciated experience in Workday.
-Project Management experience will be highly appreciated.
- Work experience in international environment/team/global company is preferred.
- Experience in other P&O subject areas (e. g., Compensation & Benefits, P&O Business Partner, Learning, etc.) is preferred.
