Our clients include the most successful hedge funds, banks, and asset managers in the world! RavenPack is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the People team in Marbella (Málaga, Spain). The position will report directly to the People Operations Manager. We are looking for a proactive, passionate and yet very responsible and rigorous person who wants to learn and develop in this challenging environment. The ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both in writing and verbally is a must. European Union's legal working status is required. Requirements : Degree in Labor Sciences, Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or similar. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position or role. Provide high-quality service to internal customers. Demonstrate problem-solving skills, initiative, and ability to work quickly and accurately. Ability to handle confidential material sensitively. Competent in using IT tools such as Excel, Word, and payroll system(s). Desirable experience with Payroll ERP (Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous). Previous experience in labor advisory is essential. Proficiency in Spanish labor regulations is required. Fluency in English and Spanish is a must. Responsibilities : Maintain payroll records: new hires, leavers, transfers, contractual changes, etc. Validate all payments and deductions. Ensure knowledge of policies, taxation, mandatory insurances, and social security regulations, ensuring all payments are duly authorized and compliant. Communicate with SEPE (Spanish Public Employment Service). Submit social security contributions through Siltr@ and "Sistema Red". Send communications to social security authorities such as CRA, etc. Report taxes (forms 111/190, 216/296). Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of monthly payroll files. Stay up to date with legislative changes and statutory regulations. Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues related to compensation, deductions, and tax withholdings.
