You will be reporting into the HR Manager, working closely with the Finance team in London, Store Ops teams as well as our external payroll partner.This is a key position within the HR team you will be responsible to ensure accurate on time delivery of payroll processes for our circa 500 plus combined store and head office colleagues in Spain. You will also ensure continuous improvements for the function, suggesting relevant process change and implementation to create efficiencies for the business.What you will be responsible for:PayrollEstablishing and communicating the payroll yearly and monthly calendarEnsuring appropriate processes and reporting tools are implemented to enable smooth and correct flow of payroll data from storesWorking closely with our external payroll vendor to ensure correctness and security of the whole payroll productionExecution of controls for payroll files throughout the payroll cycleEnsuring the correct application of any enrollment, changes, or termination of employee benefits, such as life insurance, health insurance and other payroll-related benefitsProviding guidance to stores in any task related with payrollProviding assistance to employees on payroll-related matters, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional mannerActing as a true business leader, communicating with all other departments (EU payroll, accounting)HRISUpdating and implementing any changes to the time and attendance systemEnsuring the correct application of the time and attendance processes are followed by storesImplementing data accuracy improvements and maintenance action plansProviding guidance to managers in their day to day data management operationsMonthly data audit and take appropriate actions to correct inconsistenciesWorking closely with EU HRIS teams, using your own initiative to proactively monitor and suggest improvements and automations to enhance payroll processesKeeping up to date with latest legal legislation and ensuring correct implementation of any changes within the HRIS systemsHR AdministrationReview and improve personnel administrative processes and tools in close collaboration with HR department and store operationsCompile and distribute legal, social, personnel and HR KPI reports to storesManaging payment of HR vendors through our internal system COUPAProvide guidance through creation and delivery of training to managers on payroll, admin and HRIS related mattersWhat we're looking for:Bachelors, Master's or equivalent experience and or qualifications in payroll, human resource management or finance5-7 years of experience in payroll preferred, as well as personnel administration and/or HRIS, payroll process improvement implementation, HR systems and data managementExperience in retail, hospitality or customer service sectors would be an advantageExperience using WorkdayKnowledgeable on Spanish Labor CodeFluent in English at a business levelAdvanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup and other formulas)Excellent analytical skills with high level of accuracy, detail oriented with good planning and organisation skillsAbility to work with a diverse and global teamStrong work ethics and integrityWhat We Can Offer YouCompetitive holiday daysStaff Discount 30%Global Profit Share SchemeEmployee Assistance ProgramHybrid working, 2 days from home, 3 days in the officeVolunteer Day – twice a yearOther regional benefitsGreat Location - Close to transport links in Central BarcelonaPlease make sure you upload a CV in English.UNIQLO is an inclusive employer and we welcome applications from all profiles, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, disabilities or background.We take data protection very seriously and understand the importance of protecting your privacy and Personal Information.
