The Role Are you our new Originator that excels at finding new clients and creating additional value with existing ones? Our clients are renewable energy producers across Europe that want to manage the revenue risks of their operational assets. We help our clients with securing hedges for their production, renewal and optimisation of their route-to-market contracts, and marketing of their guarantees of origin.
As an Originator at Pexapark you are creating a business that leverages our technology platform, transaction experience and counterparty network. You will be transforming the established renewable PPA market with our innovative digital solutions to bring renewable energy to market and make the world a greener place. Pexapark has a strong established presence in the German market, and your focus will be to grow our client base in the following growth areas: Iberia, Netherlands, Italy, Poland or France.
How will you help:
Be our clients' point of contact for all things related to managing their revenue risksActively engage with clients to handle their exposures to market prices and propel them to the next level in risk managementOriginate new clients and increase their awareness of our servicesAttending conferences to promote our services – both webinar and physicalWork with our dedicated software engineers to further develop the existing Pexapark technology platform to automatise the workflow and process for renewable energy tradingProject manage and collaborate with our Advisory, Analysis and Quantitative teams to develop and provide the best trading and risk management solutions to our clientsWhat you'll bring:
Demonstrated background working within a utility, asset management, developer/IPP companyEntrepreneurial spirit and the ability to always deliver for our clientsExperience with financial PPAs and physical offtake contracts in one of the growth local markets and good knowledge of both buy and sell side playersStructured mindset, attention to detail and project management skillsFluency in the local language is mandatory, and any additional language knowledge is a plusA good sense of humourHow We Work At Pexapark, we have our own way of doing things.
