SANTANDER DIGITAL SERVICES is looking for an Oracle Exadata DBA based in our Boadilla del Monte/Cantabria/Málaga office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As an Oracle Exadata DBA, you will lead the technical delivery and maintenance of Oracle Exadata databases in compliance with internal standards and processes.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
Collaborates with the vendor, Oracle, and global Santander colleagues to leverage best practices to ensure the Exadata systems are operated in the most effective manner. Contributes to the support and change delivery of non-Exadata databases. Ability to work with other teams across the group to share ideas, best practices, and ensure consistency of experience across Santander. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Innovative thinking with an ability to motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams. EXPERIENCE +5 years of related experience.
EDUCATION Relevant academic qualification.
Degree in computer science or other technical programme.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Deep technical understanding of Oracle database technologies, including RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and Exadata engineering systems.
Sound understanding of database resilience, capacity management, incident/problem/change management, Linux operating systems, database security, and control.
Understanding and awareness of public cloud concepts, software lifecycle management.
Highlights the relationship to other cloud computing services and service functions.
Configures, customizes, and supports the development toolkit and tools.
