Senior Operations Research/Optimization Engineer

As a Senior OR Engineer you will:
Join a world-class team of Quantum and Quantum-Inspired experts with an extensive track record in both academia and industry.
Work with Fortune-500 customers from government and private sectors.
Collaborate with the founding team in a fast-paced startup environment.
Contribute to designing and improving Multiverse's optimization codebase.
Design and implement new Quantum and Quantum-Inspired optimization algorithms to solve cutting-edge problems across multiple industries.
Required Qualifications:
Master or PhD in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics or related field.
5+ years of industry experience in formulating, implementing and deploying optimization solutions.
Good theoretical understanding of mathematical optimization problems.
In-depth understanding and expertise of optimization algorithms for LP, MIP and/or QP.
Knowledge of various methods such as branch-and-bound, metaheuristics and greedy algorithms.
Hands-on experience with commercial solvers (CPLEX, Gurobi, ...) or open-source solvers.
