WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON? We are looking for candidates to join our ground segment networks team, which is responsible for the design, implementation and deployment of communication networks for satellite navigation systems.
The team includes network and hardware experts in charge of platforms supporting mission relevant ground systems in Europe, such as the European Galileo and LEO-PNT satellite constellations that provide positioning and navigation services worldwide.
The main activities associated with the position are:
Installation and configuration of hardware networksInstallation, configuration and upgrade of network devicesDesign and implementation of virtualised networksNetwork systems integrationValidation of network systemsWHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM? Routing and switchingExperience in network security devices (firewalls, hardening, etc.)Linux-based systems administrationVirtualization architectures based on VMWareTroubleshooting experience (Wireshark, tcpdump)Structured cablingExperience in complex IT network systems (design, testing, upgrades)WHAT DO WE OFFER?
