Team Purpose:
The Managed Network & Security Team is responsible for the management of the network & security devices in Getronics Datacenters, connectivity towards customers and Cloud providers and on-premise Network & Security implementations at our Customers.
Role Purpose:
The role is to proactively and reactively manage the Network and Security devices, act on alarms from our network management systems, and handle incidents reported by our customers.
Troubleshoot & analyze incidents and changes, make suggestions to fix and implement the solution.
Test and deploy software upgrades or security patches.
Work as a full member of our international team of 35 Engineers.
We are looking for an experienced professional who is autonomous, self-driven, and passionate about security.
You should possess excellent communication and teamwork skills and have confidence working on your own initiative.
You will be required to work during European business hours from Monday to Friday; however, depending on the situation, you might need to stretch on certain occasions and participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Manage the design, implementation, and ongoing management of a mainly Fortinet environment, including LAN, WAN, Firewall, and Wireless Environments.
Coordinate with networking vendors to ensure appropriate platform integration and performance.
Make recommendations to Senior Management on new technologies and products for enhancement of the network.Lead and participate in the installation of Network systems and equipment for new facilities and expansions.
Test, debug, and analyze performance, and document infrastructure components.Develop Network infrastructure installation procedures to ensure successful integration of systems hardware/software.
Develop and recommend technical strategies and solutions to maintain and/or expand service levels.Monitor and analyze the network and provide results regularly.
Take corrective action to improve data network performance.Respond to emergency situations and perform effective troubleshooting during production outages.Assist in guiding, training, instructing, and assisting others at peer or lower levels on technical issues and products.Act on Network incidents reported by our network management tools and customers.Proactively test & upgrade software on various devices.Analyze capacity management reports & propose improvements.Prepare and execute Change requests.Remotely configure new devices.Attend DataCenter for local break and fix as required.Interact with multiple teams (Helpdesk, Customer, Service Delivery Manager).Provide technical advisory/designs for customer network migrations.Provide technical advisory to improve customer security environments.Communicate & raise incidents to third-party vendors/telecom providers.Create and update documentation sets.Propose improvement plans (technical & human activity).Deliver team presentations on your activities.Propose improvements for our network management tools/configuration.Analyze reporting before it is used by the Service Delivery Manager.Understand vendor product/solution evolutions. Skills/Experience Mandatory: Minimum 5 years' experience and proven knowledge of Fortinet NSE6/NS7 for both BAU & Projects.Good knowledge of Networking & Security Field with other vendor products like PaloAlto, Cisco.Hands-on experience in an ITIL structured organization dealing with Incident/Change/Problem management.Working experience both deploying and managing large and complex Fortinet environments (Routing, Switching, Wireless, Fortigate).Expertise in implementing and supporting OSPF, BGP, VRRP, and other routing protocols.Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analyzers.Configuring network & security devices with end-to-end security in mind.Configuring end-to-end Quality of Service.Troubleshooting using traffic analyzers and capacity management tools.Incident Report Document writing.Documentation (MS Word) & drawing (MS Visio) updates.Participating in Team & Customer meetings. Desirable: PaloAlto NGFW/Panorama.Cisco NGFW/FPW/FMC/Nexus/Wireless & ISE.Wireless/SDWAN, Cisco ACI as well as IT Enterprise Products.Ability to interpret wireless (WIFI) site survey reports. Requirements Masters or graduate degree.Required Technical certifications.Fortinet NSE6 (Authenticator/Sandbox/Wireless/Switch)/NSE7. Other Technical certifications (One or more from the below are a plus) Cisco CCNP R&S/Sec/Wireless.PaloAlto Certified.F5 Certified.Meraki Certified Meraki Network Operator.Awareness of ITIL V3 framework.English speaking & writing skills (German language knowledge is a plus).
