The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join our growing Software team in Dublin and Madrid, specifically within our Payments team. You should be passionate about technology and eager to learn while being keen to stay challenged. You will be working with the latest Microsoft and Azure Technologies in a fast-paced environment, releasing to production multiple times per day. We are looking for someone who will fit in with our culture of collaboration, communication, and teamwork. You should be customer-focused and detail-oriented. You should want to do things better - we believe in continuous improvement of the development process - and you should have an opinion and contribute to improving. You should care about agile, continuous integration, continuous deployment, TDD, performance, and scaling.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the development of product features and will participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and post-deployment monitoring and bug fixing.You will be working in an Agile environment as part of a product team, contributing to the ongoing evolution of ESW's suite of eCommerce products.You will collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and QA Engineers in our development teams. You are expected to be comfortable working on your own and as part of a team.You will be working with the .NET and Azure development stack. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.5+ years commercial experience in Software Development.Experience with payments systems is a plus.Excellent knowledge of C#.Knowledge of development stack: WebApi, ASP.NET, Cosmos, Restful architecture, Microservices.Experience with cloud technologies; Azure is an advantage.Proficient in Test Driven Development working within an Agile SCRUM team.DDD experience is an advantage.Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and enthusiasm for tackling tough problems.Outstanding communication skills required - primarily the ability to communicate ideas.You should want to work in a fast-paced eCommerce business.Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.High level of initiative and desire to get things done.Willingness to introduce change and challenge existing processes and procedures.
